Construction and Configuration of a Mechatronic System for Battery Degration

This project is a continuation of Mechatronic Mapping Battery of Degration, started this summer. The goal was to scan a surface in a precise grid and record voltage at each point.

The system uses an Arduino Mega 2560, NEMA 17 motors with TMC2209 drivers, a servo-based probe, and an ADS1115 external ADC for clean, accurate readings.

At every point, the machine moves into position, lowers the probe, captures the voltage, and continues. It includes homing routines, an emergency stop, and real-time status updates in the serial monitor.

This project was carried out by Jakob Bugge Bjørnhom, with project guidance from Johannes Landesfeind. It has been a rewarding continuation of the summer work..
